December is here! It is amazing how quickly this past year has gone by, and though there have certainly been ups and downs for everyone, I hope that December finds you all with family and excitement over the upcoming holidays!
Fort Collins Event Information
The Fort Collins area has many great activities coming up this month, including one of my very favorites on December 4th:
The 18th Annual Carolfest at the Opera Galleria
123 North College Ave, Fort Collins
FREE to all ages
The public is invited to participate in Carolfest, as the Choice City Singers lead the public in timeless Christmas carols. The procession of carolers will begin at the Opera Galleria, as they meet to warm up their festive voices. The caroling group will take the procession to the Northern Hotel lobby, and then move to Santa’s Workshop, singing all along the way. After visiting Santa’s Workshop and Old Town Square, the party will make its way to the final destination of Oak Street Plaza.
Carol lyrics will be distributed to participants at the Opera Galleria. Please bring warm clothes and gloves, because a majority of the caroling will be outside. This is a walking event, so participants need to be able to walk the half-mile route. This is a holiday favorite of my friends and family, so I hope to see you there!
