The Coloradoan recently had a very interesting article about the Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport.

Airport officials may bring some major renovations to the small municipal airport in the next few years, which could turn it into a major economic driver in the area, according ot Jason Licon, manager of the airport.

Fort Collins Plans Major Improvements to Its Public Transportation System

Great news from Fort Collins, Colorado! The local public transportation system is about to get even better!

After years of planning, the Mason Corridor expansion project expected to finally get underway, according to the recent article I read.

The Mason Corridor is an $87 million project that is expected to dramatically improve the city’s bus service.

It will do so by creating a transit route that will run form south of Harmony Road to Cherry Street in north Old Town.

It will also feature brand new stations, such as one on the north side of Prospect Road.

Longmont, CO Shopping Mall to Get Major Facelift

More good news for Northern Colorado residents! According to a recent article I read, the Longmont shopping mall is expected to receive some major renovations over the next several months.

NewMark Merrill Mountain States plans to spend between $25 million and $50 million on a complete overhaul of Twin Peaks Mall, located in Longmont.

The renovation plans come after NewMark Merrill took over the mall from the Panattoni Company a few weeks ago.

The Milken Institute recently released its annual survey of Best-Performing Cities and Loveland ranked 3rd of 200 of the country’s largest cities.

That 47 spots higher than the city ranked last year!

Loveland Plans Open Space at Former Agilent Site

The city of Loveland is making a concerted effort to preserve a large open space for its residents at the former Agilent site, according to a recent article that I read.

Evidently, the Loveland Historic Preservation Commission recently recommended that the city keep several old farm buildings (many dating back to the late 1800s and early 1900s) that are near the new site of the Rocky Mountain Center for Innovation and Technology project.
